A little shout out to Grant! Those of you who will be lucky enough to meet him on his world travels are in for a treat. Not everyone could show the kind of openness that he has shown towards embracing the adventure, and not everyone could sleep 3 adults in a queen size bed in the back of an old Kombi for a thousand miles. I wasn't sure who the next owner of the Kombi would be, but when I met him, I knew that Grant was the right person! Take care of CoPito and good luck on your travels mate, we're stoked that we could play such a big part in it! Such perfect light here in Kombi Life, the sun fills our little tent trailer studio from morning until evening everyday. We can't believe how much stuff we had crammed away inside the Kombi's many storage holes; we've pretty much filled this huge tent trailer. Better not get too used to all this space and head room :) K9 Adventure Time #KombiLife
From Vancouver Island Grant begins the next stage of his adventure, he is hitting the open road alone. He said he "feels like a kid at Christmas!" You'll begin to notice subtle changes on the Kombi, see that DIY Solar Shower.... Expect a "How to Build a Rack Mounted DYI Off Grid Solar shower) video with Grant coming to a YouTube channel near you soon. Oh a little detail we forgot to mention... the reason we are now living in a tent trailer on Vancouver Island, is because the field next door looks like this ;) #SeasonZero #KombiLife 2.0 If you want to join the production supporters of the next Kombi Life series, it will really help us step up our game. They say moving house is one of the most stressful times of your life. We do it often. In the past year we've doubled the number of miles on our odometer, and flown around the world and back. We wintered in Baja and produced season 4 of Hasta Alaska and now we're ready to start with "Season 5 - The Road to The Arctic!" - Its going to be awesome! Scandals and Drama like we couldn't have written, but that's the beauty of a Real Life Series. The filming is now complete, now we are ready for post production! We're constantly moving house at the moment, complying with visa regulations so that we can be true digital nomads and bring you the best travel content on YouTube. Currently we're producing from a tent trailer in Canada, soon we will have to relocate to Europe to finish the rest of the Hasta Alaska Travel Series. Our series is produced for you and by YOU, so if you would like to help us produce Season 5 then please join us on Patreon via this link: httpss://www.patreon.com/kombilife *hint - Patron get behind the scenes bonus content and exclusive previews from the next series!
You should have seen the look on the lady's face at the reception desk in Reno Private airport after we landed the Cessna and reported that we had flown across the Sierra Nevada Mountains from the Pacific to come and see a old kombi without an engine :) #SeasonZero is going to be EPIC! #KombiLife 2.0
Grant is fully settling into the swing of vanlife, preparing his first meal in the Kombi. How do you think you would adapt if you swapped the 9-5 for life on the road? Could you drive not knowing where you would sleep that night? Could you wake up in a vehicle? Could you cook you meals outside? Could you live without a TV? #Vanlife #simpleliving #tinniesthouse
Alaska is totally confused with what's going on right now as Grant takes the wheel of the Kombi for the first time. We thought that it would be a good idea to take a little Kombi Life road trip together whilst we filmed what will be the last episode of the Hasta Alaska series. Of course "little road trip" is relative so we're driving from LA to Canada :) Let me tell you Grant is a natural behind the wheel of CoPito, I think they are going to get on just fine. #lastroadtrip #kombigiveaway
